Lockdown skin saviour!  Wow Facial Home Kit to the rescue!  My skin has suffered since we were all locked down and all clinics and salons were shut down with us.  As winter approached, the whippy winds and central heating has dried my skin out, leaving it dull and crinkly.  I decided to do something about it at home beyond the usual cleansers and moisturisers.  My skin needed something on a deeper level to give it back it's glow and bounce.

So, the first step after removing all make up carefully is to use the cleanser on wet skin and rinse, then apply a coat of this cleanser to face and neck and leave for 3 to 5 minutes before working it into the skin with wet hands and rinsing thoroughly.  This will remove debris, dirt, impurities, dead skin cells and provide a good base for the needling roller so as product is absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin.

Next step is to roller and rejuvenate the skin.  Flick the ampule of vitamin enriched skin booster, break the top of the ampule and shake the serum into the needling roller device.  Roll the skin on face neck hands and decolletage.  Refer to the instruction and diagram provided for the technique and pressure.  Any leftover serum can be lightly massaged into the skin using your fingers.  The needle pushes the serum deep into the layers of the skin and also creates slight trauma to the skin awakening fibroblasts to repair make new collagen over time, plumping the skin.

After the needling step is complete apply the post treatment WOW gel matrix mask which comes in 2 parts for top and bottom areas of your face to ensure a perfect fit.  Keep face tipped upwards or lie down for around 5 minutes so as the mask stays put, after this you may move around with the mask on with no slip.  The mask can be worn for 20-40 minutes.  After removal of the mask, any serum left in the pouch it came in can be massaged into the skin with your fingers.  The thermal gel matrix ensures that the serum on the mask infuses deep into the skin to repair, rejuvenate and calm the trauma caused by the needling.  It also pushes the vitamin enriched serum used with the needling further into the skin.  The mask serum makes a barrier to keep the skin booster deep in those layers.  This mask serum is left on the skin to do it's work overnight.

I usually do this facial at night once a week or fortnightly and apply my usual night cream to seal in the serums overnight as I sleep and repair.
