Well I have just spent a lovely afternoon at Halls of Ivy Beauty Academy in Hornchurch Essex.
I lovely lady called Emma practiced on me for free. We had a really pleasant chat whilst she was doing the manicure. My nails were shaped, cuticles pushed back and cuticle cream applied. Then my hands were soaked, scrubed with exfoliater and rinsed. Hand and nail cream was applied to my hands and then a warm paraffine wax. After that my hands were wrapped in plastic bags and placed into heated mits for 10 minutes. This felt really nice and was very relaxing. My nails were then painted with Opi polish in a colour that I chose after a base coat, then a top coat was applied.
The whole experience was very relaxing and it was nice to talk to another mother too, (Emma is a mother of 3!)
My nails look great and my hands are so soft. No nappies for me for a couple of hours!
