Well I gave made at home face packs a go. I am also reviewing Bio Oil in the same post as I used it in conjunction with my home facepacks.
The first facepack I made was a skin peeling one. Ingredients were; banana, olive oil, honey, elderberries, (any berries will do), mayonaise, 2 asprins, lemon juice. I left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing.
Directly afterwards I made a mositurising face pack consisting of; avocado, honey, aloe vera gel, (olive oil is also good), and mayonaise. I left this on for the same amount of time and then rinsed.
After this I cleansed with gentle facial wipes and then massaged my skin with Bio Oil for 10 minitues. I then wiped off the excess oil with a tissue before bed.
I have been using Bio Oil instead of my usual vitamin E oil recently as I was kindly given a sample to review from Katie Harris who works for Bio Oil. I like this product as it smells really clean and isn't too greasy. I used the Bio Oil for 3 nights consecutively.
My skin looks so clear, fresh and young! I think this is a combination of the face packs and Bio Oil. My skin tone is quite even. I don't have many lines but the very fine lines I do have around my eyes are significatly reduced and sofened. I will continue to use Bio Oil nightly instead of my usual night cream from now on! I will also continue with the face packs on a regular basis, as I think that they have made a difference.
